Terms of Use
The rules for using Lubbock Electrician Pros, a free service that connects people in Lubbock, TX and nearby South Plains towns with independent electrical contractors.
This website is owned and operated by Joe McGregor. Last updated November 6, 2026.
What this service is
Lubbock Electrician Pros is a referral service. It passes your request, or connects your call, to independent electrical contractors that serve your area. It is not an electrical contractor and is not licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). It does not perform, offer to perform, plan or supervise electrical work. The words "Electrician Pros" are part of the site's name, not a description of work the site does.
Lubbock Electrician Pros is an independent quote service. It is not an electrical contractor, does not perform electrical work, and is not affiliated with any electrical company.
Free, with no obligation
Requesting quotes is free, and you are never obligated to hire any contractor who contacts you. Contractors may pay Lubbock Electrician Pros for each request or call they receive. The site does not rank or endorse contractors, and contractors reply on their own schedules. No response time is promised.
The contractors are independent
Contractors who contact you are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Lubbock Electrician Pros. Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor you choose. Each contractor is responsible for its own TDLR license, insurance, permits, prices, workmanship and warranties. The site does not verify licenses, insurance or work and cannot promise that any contractor is licensed or insured. Before you hire:
- Texas requires electrical contractors and electricians to be licensed by TDLR (Occupations Code Ch. 1305). Check any license at tdlr.texas.gov/LicenseSearch and look for the contractor's TECL number on the truck and the written proposal.
- Ask for a certificate of insurance. Texas sets a minimum of $300,000 per occurrence and $600,000 aggregate for licensed electrical contractors.
- Get a written, itemized quote that says who pulls the permit, and don't pay in full upfront.
- For in-home sales over $25, Texas generally gives a three-business-day right to cancel (Bus. & Com. Code ch. 601). Whether it applies depends on the sale.
Information on this site
Guides, prices and answers on this site are general information. They are not professional electrical, legal or insurance advice. Prices are published third-party ranges, not quotes. Laws, codes, permit fees and utility rules change; confirm anything important with TDLR, the City of Lubbock or your town, a Texas attorney or your insurance agent. Never attempt electrical work you are not qualified and permitted to do.

Acceptable use
Please submit only real requests for property you own, rent or manage, with accurate contact details. Do not submit someone else's information without permission, send spam, try to disrupt the site or its form, or copy the site's content for commercial use.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Lubbock Electrician Pros and its owner are not liable for the work, prices, advice, conduct, licensing or insurance of any contractor you contact through the site, or for any loss that results from using the site or relying on its information. Your remedies for a contractor's work are with that contractor.
